Opening of the ceremony, “the City of Art – Počitelj” was officially recognized on July 8th 2016 in the lawn of the Art colony with the music group Trebižat and the famous pianist Vlado Podany. The main sponsor of this year’s project was MCF Sunrise. The purpose and idea of the City of Art project was to introduce and socialize young creators in the field of culture, exchange of ideas and the realization of cooperation on joint multicultural projects, inter-religious and international tolerance and respect; bringing back the old glow of the city of Počitelj, as a tourist promotion of cultural and historical heritage of Počitelj and the region of municipality of Čapljina, and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
